Lawrence has lived in Japan, France, Switzerland, England and the Isle of Mann. He was educated in private boarding schools and graduated 1982 from Chichester College. Lawrence joined the United States Air Force in 1983. He was Airman of the Year in 1985 and received numerous Air Force Awards. He acquired his real estate license in 1988 and also got married during that year to Elizabeth Taylor. They have two daughters: Stephanie, 17 and Allyson 13. Lawrence is very involved in the community; in the past he has served as PTA President at Lake Seneca Elementary, PTA Cluster rep for MLK Middle School, and the public relations rep for the Seneca Valley High School Cluster. Lawrence is a past secretary and past director for the Waters Landing HomeOwner’s Association. As Chair of the Germantown Alliance for over 6 years, Lawrence founded the Germantown Walk for the Homeless, now in its sixth year. His work with “The Walk” has earned him recognition as The Bernie House’s ‘Primum Vivere’ Award Recipient 2006. He is a member of the Gaithersburg-Germantown Chamber of Commerce. Lawrence is recognized within RE/MAX as a member of the 100% Club, and the “Hall of Fame”.
