Hi - I'm a new NestPro here.  I like the concept!  But - the setup of a couple of things don't make complete sense to me so I thought I would ask about them here.

First, as a real estate professional, I assumed that we should be able to post our listings here.  However, there seems to be no mechanism to list as an agent, but only as an owner or tenant.  (BTW...I don't quite understand why a tenant would be posting a house for sale.)  Is posting a listing something we shouldn't be doing here, but only using Nesters in connection with listings posted elsewhere on the web?

Second, I'm really unclear on how we can associate ourselves with companies that we aren't owners of.  I don't want to pose as the owner of my large brokerage.  Likewise, they are not going to spend time administering and managing presences on anything but the larger main real estate sites.  Not quite sure how to proceed, if I want to use the functionality of lead forms and contact management.

And as a spelling geek...I do notice a number of typos and such in various places on the site.

Thanks for your help!

Oh - here are two more things: The listing I put up shows the wrong number of baths, does not correspond with what I put in the form.

And - looks like we can't edit our posts here in the forum, or I would have done so rather than reply to myself!

Suzanne,

Welcome to Nesters. Glad that you are a new Nest Pro!:)

Here are some answers:

 - You can post as many listings as you would like. As a Nest Pro you should do so through the ExChange Platform though (https://exchange.nesters.com)  - just create a Seller Project and you can activate a listing in it. I guess the confusion comes from the fact that Nesters.com is a consumer oriented portal. Only the ExChange tab is specifically targeted for professionals and Nesters ExChange (the actual CRM platform) although integrated with Nesters.com resides on https://exchange.nesters.com .

 - The functionality under Nesters.com/My Nest/ My Homes is for personal use. There local residents (including professionals like us) can create home profiles so that they can manage their home experience online. That's why there you can be only an owner or a tenant for a home - and yes, if you are the owner you can activate a FSBO listing.

 - The ExChange company concept is as follows  - you can create your own company space (Suzanne Champion CB for example), there you are the company owner (the superuser) and can manage contacts, associates, lead forms, projects etc. You can also be an associate under other companies - lets say you brokerage creates an ExChange company or you work sometimes in a team with other Realtors. In those companies depending on the role they assign you you will typically have access only to the projects you are part of.

 - Can you pls post the link to your listing where it shows the incorrect info? It must be a bug in our system

 - We will enhance the functionality of the forum to allow you to edit your posts

 - Please feel free to point to any spelling mistakes or content inconsistencies

Thanks a lot for your feedback! Please share anything else that does not make sense or you feel it could be improved.

Thanks Ivan - as you can tell, some of the navigation wasn't clear at first. Got it!
