I live in Atlanta and this year there is a big drought. The city has imposed watering restrictions. Because of that the cedar trees along my drive way are starting to dry off and die.

Any tips on how to deal with this? How are other home owners keeping their yards alive?

Thanks.

Ivan

Burn it all and start over.

I see this is an older thread but I thought I would chime in anyway.

I would keep a healthy amount of ground cover bark around the trees, say around 4 to 10 feet. This helps the soil from drying out to quickly and retain what little moisture may be in the ground.

Hope this helps!
