The Realtor Association of Greater Fort Myers and the Beach announced total existing home sales during January rose a whopping 155 percent over January 2008.  Lee County Florida has seen a tremendous increase in the number of pending sales. This is a 13-month trend.

This increase in pending sales is translation into an increase in closed sales. This has cased the inventory to drop 4.2%. Another compelling reason to buy right now is that homes are selling below the price to build them new.  In Fact the median list price in Lee County is now lower than it was in 2003.
