Buyers now is the time to take advantage of the low interest rates and if you are a 1st time homebuyer, get the $8000.00 tax credit before it ends on November 30, 2009. This means there are 71 days approx. to pre-qualify, find, put under contract, do inspections and close! Get your running shoes on........

I know that NAR is pushing and other groups to continue this tax credit and possibly open it up to all buyers...but face it; we don't know if that is going to happen or not! Also, the interest rates will be moving upwards, so you will qualify for less of a home.

I believe if you have any motivation to be a homeowner in the United States...this would be it....but here are a few other reasons that take on a lighter approach.

Just making light of being a 1st time homebuyer...in reality $8000.00 from the Government is huge..take it and run!
